Refund Policy

When a card balance can come back to you, how the amount is worked out, and the fees that are never returned.

Last updated October 13, 2026

This policy covers money that is still sitting on a BuyVCC card: when you can get it back, how much you receive and how to ask. It is part of our Terms of Service. The percentages and amounts on this page are read from our live settings, so they always match what the dashboard calculates.

Three rules that decide every request

Your cardWhat you can get back
Never used for a paymentThe whole remaining balance. No commission.
Used, with $500.00 or more leftThe remaining balance minus a 10% refund commission. The card is closed.
Used, with less than $500.00 leftNothing back. The money stays usable on the card up to its expiry date.

Whatever the case, neither fee from your original order comes back as part of a refund. A member of our team reviews each request and confirms the final figure.

When does a card count as used?

A card is used from the moment any merchant charges it or places a hold on it. That includes purchases, subscription payments, pre-authorizations and the small verification charges some services make when you add a card, even if the merchant later cancels or reverses the charge. Records from the card program settle any doubt.

Looking at a card in your dashboard, copying its details or saving it in a merchant account without a charge does not make it used.

Worked examples

A card you never used

You order a card with a $200 balance and decide you no longer need it. Because no merchant ever charged it, the refund is the full $200. Both checkout fees stay with us. Once the $200 is sent, the card is closed for good.

A used card with a large balance

Your card was used for one payment and still holds $900. If the threshold is $500 and the commission is 10%, the commission is $90 and you receive $810. The card is closed when the refund goes out. The figures in this example are for illustration; the threshold and commission that apply to you are the ones in the table above.

A used card with a small balance

A used card with $60 left is below the threshold, so the balance cannot be refunded. It remains yours to spend until the card's expiry date.

Money we never return

  • The issue fee, right now $5.00 for every card.
  • The top-up charge, right now 15% of whatever balance you ordered.
  • Network, wallet, exchange or other third-party fees, including those on the refund payout.
  • The refund commission on used cards described above.

These fees cover the cost of issuing and loading the card, so they are earned once the card exists.

Asking for a refund

  1. Sign in and open Refunds, then choose Request a refund.
  2. Pick the card. The page tells you straight away whether it qualifies and shows the estimated amount.
  3. Tell us in a sentence or two why you want the refund.
  4. Enter the network and the wallet address or Pay ID that should receive the money. Check both twice, because a payout sent to the details you enter cannot be pulled back.
  5. Submit. The request shows up under Refunds, and an email follows as soon as someone decides it.

Each card can have only one open refund request at a time.

Review, amount and payout

Someone on our team checks the card's real balance and usage with the card program before approving. If they differ from what the dashboard showed when you asked, the final amount follows the real figures and the rules above, and never exceeds the card's balance. Most requests are settled in a few working days. Approved money normally goes out in USDT, or another way agreed with you, to the address from your request, and the payout transaction ID appears on the refund in your dashboard.

Sometimes a payment arrives but the card cannot be issued as ordered, most often because less than the full total reached us. Open a support ticket with the order reference. If the funds reached us and can be matched to your order, you can choose between completing the order and getting back what arrived, less network or processing costs. Crypto sent as the wrong token, over the wrong network or to an address the checkout never showed may be gone for good. We will honestly try to trace it, without being able to promise an outcome.

When a refund can be refused or delayed

  • The card is frozen, or the card or account is under investigation for fraud, abuse or rule-breaking.
  • The card was used for something our Terms do not allow, or the money used to buy it is disputed or linked to theft.
  • We need more information to confirm who you are or that the payout address belongs to you.
  • A court, an authority or the law requires us to hold the funds.

Questions before you order

If you are unsure whether a card will suit what you need, ask first: write to support@buyvcc.net or open a support ticket. It is much easier to answer a question before an order than to unwind one afterwards.
